JSC "Belozerskyi lespromhoz" is the largest enterprise in the structure of the holding company, with annual felling volume up to 600 thousand cbm.

Forest management system of the enterprise was assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of well managed forest according to FSC international standards of FSC (SGS-FM/COC-1828). JSC "Belosersky LPH" became the ninth among FSC certified Russian enterprises.

Timber felling is done by various types of domestically produced machinery. In last years, according to the approved by the holding company plans, efficient foreign equipment has been introduced into production. Feller-buncher 853 J, 2 forwarders 1010 D and 2 forwarders 1010 B, two skidders 648 G produced by John Deere and skidder produced by German company HSM are nowadays in use.

Timber felling is performed in accordance with the existing forest legislation. Different methods of felling are used at the enterprise: clear, progressive, gradual, selective cuttings, thinning.

In 2001 a new modern sawmill with designed production capacity more than 70.000 cbm of coniferous sawntimber per year was put into operation on the basis of "Belozersky LPH". Edged boards are exported to Central and Western European countries to factories producing moulded strips and planed details. The sawmill is FSC-certified as meeting the requirements of Chain of Custody (SGS-COC-2080).

The company is proud of people working in it and the personnel is considered to be the most important factor. Quarterly the results of work are summarized and foremost workers are awarded by valuable gifts. Fellers Nikolai Titov and Aleksey Zagainov many times uphold the honor of the company at regional competitions. In 2005 Nikolai Titov was recognized the best feller in the Vologda region and got the second place at national cup competitions "Husqvarna-2005".

In spite of the fact that all social assets are under the jurisdiction of municipality, the company continues to build houses for workers in forest settlements and to develop social sphere.
