Timber felling activity of Joint Stock Company "Belozersky lespromhoz" is organized according to the principles approved by the company and in accordance with environmental policy. In 2004 timber felling operations were carried out within the limits of the allowable cut and according to felling plans approved by state ecological expert commission. In 2004, under the authorized program, taking into consideration scale and intensity of forest management executive practices, monitorings of state of forests, output of timber production, chain "from the producer to the final consumer", forestry operations and their social and ecological consequences were carried out.

The present report is prepared in order to inform the public about the results of monitorings taken by JSC "Belozersky lespromhoz" and according to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Principle No.8.
