JSC "Vaschkinsky LPH" is a stable enterprise, the largest one in the Vashkinsky district of the region, forming the local budget, with annual felling volume appr. 200-220 thousand cbm of timber. Round timber is delivered by water to the Buyers from Sweden, Finland, Norway and also to the local market. Timber felling is carried out by various types of domestically produced machinery and "John Deere" import machinery and equipment: 2 forwarders 1010 D and 1 forwarder 1010 A. The share of felling by Scandinavian technology is 26%. It is planned to increase the volume of timber felling by Scandinavian methods in the future and to introduce modern technology and machinery for this purposes.

The company traditionally operates in compliance with all requirements of the forest legislation, actively introducing methods of sustainable forestry. Gradual, selective and cleaning felling are practiced by the company. The specialists of the company take an active part in reforestation. All these measures open favorable opportunities for the company to pass voluntary forest certification.
