The Agreement for delivery of the second portion of drying kilns to the sawmill of "Belozersky LPH" has been signed by representatives of "Cherepovetsles" at the exhibition "Ligna + 2003" (Hannover).
Austrian company "Muhlbock" will supply the equipment. According to the Agreement, four chambers with total capacity of 652 m3 will start to operate in September — October, 2003. As a result, all volume of sawntimber produced at the sawmill will be dried.
Besides this, the representatives of "Cherepovetsles" had discussions in Hannover concerning woodworking program of "Cherepovetsles" for this year and long-term development of the company. Special attention was given to the following questions: removal of buttress from logs, choice of drying equipment for birch sawntimber produced by "Belozerskles" and analysis of waste processing technologies.
