WWF has acknowledged "Cherepovetsles" as one of the responsible timber suppliers.

It was acknowledged that "Cherepovetsles" "meets the basic requirements to timber suppliers", "traces an origin of timber and cooperates with nongovernmental ecological organizations, providing transparency of its business".

That is why Telemark Wood Company AS which has chosen "Cherepovetsles" as its single timber supplier, was top-ranked in responsible round timber importers rating, issued by experts of WWF.

These data have been reported at the seminar that took place in Pskov on February 25, 2003 and published at official site of WWF www.ruswoodorigin.ru.
