Holding company "Cherepovetsles" has successfully passed the audit on conformity of its activity to the Standard of product chain certification 2.0 GFA, thus having closed the entire production and trading chain of FSC certificated production.

Certificate registration code is GFA-COC-1259. This certificate allows the company to label and sell FSC-certificated round timber, saw-timber and chips from spruce, pine, aspen and birch.

The purpose of FSC-certification was the integration of the trading company as an agent in the entire production chain of the whole holding. Nowadays the enterprises in the structure of holding export about 700.000 of round timber and 60.000 cbm of saw-timber annually.

Let’s remind that in August, 2004, the biggest enterprise in the structure of the holding JSC "Belozersky LPH" has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of well managed forest according to FSC international standards on a forest area of 220 thousand ha. In March, 2005, Chain-of-Custody certificate was received by the sawmill in Niznya Mondoma.
