On March 16, planed mouldings shop was opened in OOO Koskisilva. By officially cutting the red ribbon and pressing a symbolic button, a new technological line was put into operation in the converted workshop at the Koskisilva enterprise. The hood rustled, the machines drums spun, and few minutes later the participants of the solemn event left their autographs and inscriptions on the first products released.

On behalf of the governor, Mikhail Nikolaevich Glazkov welcomed the leaders and the working team: - This is another significant event in the Sheksninsky district life. Due to recent events, many enterprises have experienced serious difficulties, primarily in logging and timber processing. Using the example of the Koskisilva enterprise, we see how we can reformat our activities: look for new sales markets, partners, and produce new and in-demand types of products. We welcome managers who do not sit still, but make correct and professional decisions in a lots of changing circumstances and factors.

General director of OOO Koskisilva V.V. Kuznetsov conducted a tour of the workshop: - Only planed products will be produced here – euro siding, faux log, blockhouse, floor board, bar. The finished board is delivered to us from Vologda factories from D. Veregonets and P. Nizhnyaya Mondoma. Now the first shift has been formed in the workshop, in the future we plan to work in three shifts, and for this we will need new employees.

The owner of the Koskisilva company is OOO "UK "Cherepovetsles". At the beginning of July 2022, the company's shareholders decided to develop and implement an investment project for the technical re-equipment of OOO Koskisilva. The old sawmill line was dismantled and sold and the planing equipment of a German company, one of the world leaders in the production of profile equipment, was purchased.

Currently, the company's team has 39 employees, and the production facilities being introduced will allow to produce up to 55,000 cubic meters of planed lumber per year.

The complex of auxiliary equipment was developed and supplied by the Vologda company. Installed and configured for a short time. It took about six months from the purchase of equipment to the release of the first products. - We will give the country excellent products, the accuracy of the equipment is amazing, - says D.Y. Kutin, chief power engineer of the enterprise. Koskisilva employees have completed an internship at the same woodworking plant in the Vytegorsky district. - Today we are present at the launch of the newest line, which in its scale will make a significant contribution to the economy of the district. These are several dozen jobs, this is an expansion of the range of products in the district. I congratulate the entire staff of the enterprise and hope to be present here at the launch of new capacities," commented S.V. Marov, head of the Sheksninsky district. And there are such plans, and the expansion of production is not far off. According to the management of the enterprise, a trip to China and Taiwan is planned in April to see the new equipment, and there are plans to build another workshop nearby.
