Vashkinsky LPH

AO "Vashkinsky LPH" is a sustainably operating enterprise with an annual logging volume of up to 250 thousand m³. Roundwood is supplied by water along the Volga-Baltic Route to consumers from Sweden, Finland, Norway, as well as to the domestic market.

In 2006, the forestry enterprise as part of the group of holding enterprises successfully passed certification of the Forest Stewardship Council system. As a result of the modernization program, only Nordic CTL (cut-to-length) harvesting technology is used.

Logging is traditionally carried out according to all of the forest legislation requirements. The methods of sustainable forest management are used in the work. Long-term gradual felling, selective and care felling are carried out. Specialists of the forestry enterprise are engaged in reforestation.
