On the basis of the Babaevsky Training Center, the trainers of the Vologda Regional Competence Center conducted training in lean manufacturing methods for the enterprises of the Cherepovetsles Holding. The training was attended by managers and specialists who will be engaged in the implementation of lean production methods in forestry enterprises.

As part of the training, the working group studied in more detail:

• The history of the creation of lean manufacturing technology
• Goals and concepts of lean manufacturing
• Areas of application, principles and tools
• Methods and stages of implementation
• Types of production losses and methods of their elimination

The result of the two-day training will be the development of a program with a production system based on the principles of lean manufacturing and the implementation of solutions leading to an increase in labor productivity at all enterprises of the Cherepovetsles Holding.
