Working meeting of the Vologda region Governor and the Cherepovetsles General Director in the Belozersky district
The Vologda Region Governor, Oleg Kuvshinnikov, paid a working visit to the Belozersky district. The head of the region visited the Mondoma secondary school, which was renovated with the involvement of private funds of the Cherepovetsles Holding.
Valery Pisarev, General Director of the Cherepovetsles Holding, conducted the governor through the school building. The educational institution where 89 people are currently studying, the former two-storey building of the forestry enterprise, has been put in order with the support of AO “Belozersky lespromkhoz”. Thanks to this, major repairs of the premises were carried out, furniture for classrooms was purchased, the food hall was fully equipped in accordance with modern requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. The total expenses of the company for these purposes exceeded 15 million rubles.
Governor will meet with the labor collective of the “Belozersky lespromkhoz” enterprise. He thanked the management and staff of the forestry enterprise for their high social responsibility and the allocation of funds for the reconstruction of the school. "When a private business repairs a school at its own expense, these are isolated cases in the country," the governor noted.
The general director of the "Cherepovetsles" holding company Pisarev Valery Nikolaevich told at the meeting that the company will begin construction of a new pellet production and a boiler house operating on wood processing waste in the near future. Since 2015, the company has invested 2.5 billion rubles in the development of the Belozersk site. To transport the sawmill timber, the company needs to develop road infrastructure, including a bypass route around Belozersk.
At the end of the meeting, Oleg Kuvshinnikov presented awards to the best workers of the Belozersky forestry enterprise.
