AO "Belozersky lespromkhoz", the enterprise of the Cherepovets holding, took the first place at the Vologda regional competition "Investor of the region" in the nomination "The best investment project in the field of forestry".

The winners were awarded within the business forum “Vologda Region: Challenges, Prospects, Growth Points”. Award statuettes and diplomas were presented to the winners by the Governor of the Vologda region O.A. Kuvshinnikov.

The contest "Investor of the region" was held in the Vologda region for the fifth time. Over the years, 195 organizations and entrepreneurs have participated in it, 100 contestants have become winners. The competition was held among companies that invested more than 2.5 million rubles in the development or launching of their own production facilities and enterprises in 2020.

In the entire history of the Investor of the Year contest, AO "Belozersky lespromkhoz" became the winner of the competition three times, and two times the enterprise’s investment projects were recognized as the best:

• In 2016, the second place for the "Organization of the production of wood briquettes" investment project
• In 2017, the first place for the project "Increasing production of dry coniferous sawn timber at the operating sawmill of AO "Belozersky lespromkhoz" in Nizhnyaya Mondoma village up to 100 thousand m³"
